Thanks so much to everyone who came to LTGTR 2017. The full report is on my facebook page and the Let The Good Times Roll website. This was the 15th Birthday Party and also goodbye for our Event!!! We will miss you all but have some wonderful memories.
Background Info:
I was the Event Director and worked alongside Fred (DJ) and Eddie Buckley organizing 'Let The Good Times Roll ...', a Workshop/Dinner/Dance held each Fall in Toronto. The initial idea was to have a non-intimidating event that would allow newer dancers and those who didn't attend larger events to "try an event out"! We invited local instructors to teach alongside Fred and myself. We also had international guest instructors from time to time ... Rosie Multari, Larry Bass and Michele Perron.
We would like to thank all those dancers who joined us on the dance floor for the last fifteen years as well as our talented guest instructors.

I also hosted The Spring Workshop with international instructors. The first Spring Workshop featured Peter & Alison, the next year we were honoured to host Kim Ray and Robert Lindsay, the following year Andrew & Sheila together with Lizzie Clarke. In 2010 we hosted Dee Musk and Craig Bennett as our special guests and the event sold out before Christmas. Similarly in April 2011 when we hosted Robbie McGowan Hickie and Kate Sala, and from then on The Spring Workshop sold out well before the date. In 2012 I hosted Maggie Gallagher, in 2013 Ria Vos and Karl Harry Winson were our special guests, in 2014 Kate Sala and Jose Miguel Belloque Vane, in 2015 Craig Bennett and Daniel Whittaker, in 2016 Rob Fowler and J.P. Madge, 2017 with Roy Verdonk and Guillaume Richard and in 2018 Maggie Gallagher. Reports and photos for 2016, 2017 and 2018 are on the website The Spring Workshop
April 27 2019 THE 12th and LAST SPRING WORKSHOP with **SIMON WARD** and **MADDISON GLOVER** was the most amazing workshop. It was the biggest workshop of all and still completely sold out well before the date. Thank you so very much to everyone who made it so special and to those who helped make it possible as I battled with ill health, I will always remember you all and this event. For 12 years I had brought over internationally known Choreographers/ Instructors from all over the world who I met on my travels and this was a wonderful event for a 'Grand Finale'. OTHER EVENTS
I manage the facebook page and website for this long-running fund-raising line dance event held in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Event Director Valarie Keller, together with her many volunteers have raised thousands and thousands of dollars for cancer and currently for hospices. It is a "must go to" event for Ontario dancers and is also attracting dancers from further afield, it is just so much fun. Check out the website for full details.
